REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

Transparency In Coverage (USA)

Overview: On October 29, 2020, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Labor, and the Department of Treasury released the final version of the Transparency in Coverage Rule. The rule is designed to provide consumers information about healthcare costs, by disclosing price and cost-sharing information.

The link below leads to machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. A machine-readable file is a digital representation of data or information in a file that can be imported or read into a computer system for further processing.

Note: Cigna, our benefits provider, will update the files each month and this link will remain constant and always access the most up-to-date files.
